WE ARE HAPPY YOU ARE HERE
Thank you for visiting our website, we hope you find what you are looking for! Kids on the POINT OT is a small occupational therapy studio designed to provide pediatric occupational therapy services to children; from birth to young adulthood.
Kids on the POINT OT was created to deliver services for children straight to the heart of their daily lives...in the very community we love. Co-owners, Bobbi Hanna and Megan Jewell are both Point Loma natives, whose intention has always been to support their community by creating a safe space and happy environment for children to learn, grown, move, and thrive!
Kids on the POINT OT is focused on supporting children to fully engage in those activities that occupy their time and spirit through play. Play is the developmental medium where children gain motor skills, learn social skills and expand their creativity. We have designed our model to be able to meet families at the heart of where they need support through direct treatment, groups, home programming, home visits and community integration.
WE ARE CONTINUING EDUCATION
Here at Kids on the POINT OT, we strive to support our families through every stage of development across the lifespan. Our therapists make a continual effort to stay current with our education and enjoy attending courses on the newest treatment tools and strategies. We work with children using a holistic framework, and pull from various trainings and resources to better serve the needs of the families we work with.
Our therapists have training in the following:
-iLs (Interactive Listening Program)

WE ARE INTERDISCIPLINARY
Kids on the POINT OT strives to work with your child's entire team, from local pediatricians, school teachers, developmental optometrists, to neuropsychologists, physical and speech therapists, educational therapists, marriage and family therapists, and more. We understand that tools must be implemented across each child's daily environments, and amongst those they interact with regularly.
WE ARE AVANTI
Our therapists have the unique experience each summer to pack up and head to Amery, Wisconsin where, surrounded by nature, children and therapists from all over the world unite for a week of therapeutic camp in a natural setting. This intensive model gives our profession the opportunity to enrich the lives of these campers through functional and purposeful interactions.
